Legge & Legge is pleased to include paralegal services to the legal services we offer.

James Legge (BA Hons), son of partners John Legge and Mary Stokes, and grandson of firm founders Laura and Bruce Legge, has credentials as a paralegal from the Law Society of Ontario. He is also a notary public.

Many of our clients know James well. He has worked for Legge & Legge on and off for most of the last two decades as receptionist, general clerk, and most recently litigation clerk. James will continue to assist John Legge as a litigation clerk. However, as a paralegal he is also able to act independently in several other capacities and appear before various tribunals, including the Landlord and Tenant Board, provincial court, traffic court, and small claims court (for claims up to 35,000$ or claims reduced to $35,000.)
