Elizabeth Legge, BA, JD (on leave)
Elizabeth Legge is proud to represent the third generation of lawyers in the Legge family at the firm. She is the granddaughter of founders Laura Legge, QC, and Bruce Legge, QC, and the daughter of current firm partners John Legge and Mary Stokes. Elizabeth joined the firm in 2017, after her call to the bar. Her practice focuses primarily on estate planning, administration of trusts and estates, and real estate.
Before beginning her legal studies, Elizabeth graduated with a first class honours B.A. in history and classics from the University of King’s College and Dalhousie University. She attended law school at Dalhousie University (Schulich School of Law), where she received a Schulich Scholarship, the JSD Tory Writing Award, and the Osgoode Society Prize in Legal History.
While at law school, Elizabeth was involved with Pro Bono Students Canada and worked for a non-profit organization in the area of disability law. She completed her articles with a prominent estate litigation firm in Toronto.
Elizabeth is currently on leave while she works on contract with Pro Bono Ontario.
