Christine Davidson BA, GDPA, LLB
Christine Davidson was called to the Bar in 2012 and joined Legge & Legge in the fall of that year. She practises exclusively in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and elder law.
Christine graduated with an LL.B. from Dalhousie Law School (now the Schulich School of Law) in 2007, and has a graduate diploma in public administration from Dalhousie’s School of Public Administration. She completed her articles with a civil litigation lawyer in Toronto, gaining experience in landlord and tenant law, appeals to the Social Benefits Tribunal, and in child protection law. Christine also did a considerable amount of legal aid work during her articles. Recently Christine obtained the Osgoode Certificate in Elder Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Before embarking on a legal career, Christine raised two sons while working as a researcher and teaching assistant in statistics, program evaluation and economics at both Dalhousie University and the Early Psychosis Unit at the Nova Scotia Hospital. She continues to be interested in legal issues relating to mental health. Outside the office Christine and her husband love to tandem cycle. Together they train for charity rides including the 140 km Cycle for Sight to Collingwood and the DVP Ride for Heart.
